lace bacon slices in a large skillet. Set the skillet on the stove and turn burner to medium heat. After a few minutes, use tongs or a fork to turn bacon over. Amount of time required to cook bacon will depend on a few variables:
-
how hot is the pan? (hotter cooks quicker, except that too hot = burnt food)
-
how thick is the bacon? (thicker bacon takes longer to cook)
-
how floppy/crispy do you like your bacon?
While bacon cooks, break one egg into a bowl and beat well. Set the table. Clean the kitchen. Wash a load of laundry… (I like my bacon thick-sliced and well-done)
When bacon is done cooking, remove from pan and set on a paper towel to allow grease to drain from bacon. Throw a handful of chopped peppers** into the hot bacon fat in the pan. Stir. Pour beaten egg over peppers and stir until egg is cooked.
Serve bacon and eggs with fruit juice.
